Emmys 2018: Netflix lidera nomeações pela primeira vez

Tanto ameaçou que aconteceu mesmo! Há muito tempo a “morder” os calcanhares da HBO, líder indiscutível há 17 anos nas indicações aos Emmys, o serviço de streaming Netflix quebrou o enguiço e, com 112 nomeações (mais quatro do que o canal norte-americano), reforçou mais do que nunca a sua posição. Graças às categorias técnicas, «A Guerra dos Tronos» (22) e «Westworld» (21) são as mais nomeadas, enquanto «The Handmaid’s Tale», a grande vencedora de 2017, reforça o seu estatuto com 20. A cerimónia acontece a 17 de setembro, e tem como apresentadores Colin Jost e Michael Che, de «Saturday Night Live».
